I’d been living rough on the streets of Bradford when I was taken to Andy’s Feral Friends who gave me lots of TLC and arranged for me to have some vet treatment that I needed. I was also neutered and had both my ears tipped in preparation for release – this tells other rescues that I’ve been neutered if I ever ended up trapped again. It’s also used to show that a cat is feral rather than lost. When AFF realised I was far too friendly to be put back out onto the streets, I was moved to CRWT and then came to the cafe when it opened in 2019.

In February 2022 I suffered something similar to a stroke and was very poorly. I spent some time in hospital, then went back to CRWT for physiotherapy before returning to the cafe. I’ve recovered amazingly well and can do most things that I did before (I just have a little wobble now when I walk). The vet and the cafe staff (who affectionately call me Papa or Grandpa) are all super-proud of me! I love cheek and chin scratches!
